CHLOE WATSON TUTORING

ABOUT ME

I'm Chloe, a qualified teacher with 16 years of classroom experience working with children of a wide range of ages and abilities.

I have a First Class Honours degree from the University of Warwick, as well as an MA in History for which my main focus was the history of the media. I have a PGCE, QTS and an Enhanced DBS check.

I have taught many subjects such as History, Government and Politics, English, RE, Geography and even Science during my career as a teacher. I have also worked as a Curriculum Leader in Year 7 and Year 8 with a particular focus on improving the transition from KS2 to KS3. This included planning and delivering a literacy curriculum to support Year 7 and 8 pupils, helping them to reinforce the key skills they needed for their English lessons.

I have worked as an examiner for GCSE History and have extensive experience with the Edexcel A Level History coursework unit.

When I am not tutoring, I enjoy reading, watching old films, knitting, listening to music and spending time with my children and family.
